TRAIN WITH VALLEY K9 TRAINING
Because Your Home is Not a Zoo
My passion is dog training and I enjoy making a positive difference in the lives of not only the animals but their owners. I have always had a deep affection for all animals, but especially dogs. I have been working with dogs independently and through various organizations since 2014. Prior to relocating to Jacksonville, I obtained a certification in Dog Training from the ABC Canine College in 2015, completed a 2-year internship with a master trainer, and opened Valley K9 Training. I have taught group and individual classes in Socialization, Obedience training, Odor Detection, Canine Good Citizen, Rally, and Search and Rescue. I participated, trained, and titled a dog in French Ring and NACSW Nose Work. I volunteered with a nonprofit service dog foundation providing training to service dogs. I raised and trained service dogs which were then successfully placed with them with their handlers. I volunteered and trained with EVAK as a Search and Rescue Canine handler. Outside work, I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my Belgian Malinois – Heist (a retired search and rescue dog).
